ANGOLA, Ind.—Tri-State University has awarded Drs. Ralph and Sheri Trine with the highest honor at the University. The couple was awarded the Pillar of Success at TSU’s Homecoming Touchstone Dinner. The couple, who have been long-time supporters of TSU, were honored for their years of dedicated service. Through the years, the Trines have donated funds for countless projects, including the Trine Welcome Center, Fort Wayne campus décor, Trine Guest cottage, the student villas, and the new president’s house. A special video was presented in honor of their contributions. The couple’s family was in attendance to congratulate them on their award.
“TSU is honored to have the presence of people like the Trines involved in our university,” said Earl D. Brooks II, Ph.D., President of TSU. “The type of philanthropy that the couple has bestowed on this institution has left a legacy that many will benefit from for years to come.”
