SWE COUNSELOR
As a new SWE Counselor, I am very excited to be a part of the Tri-State University SWE Chapter. It is obvious by the activity calendar that this chapter is very motivated and off to a great start this year. As a counselor, I am here to help in most any way by:
· Being a liaison between industry, SWE Nationals and the
  Student Section
· Arranging plant tours and locating speakers
· Providing advice and suggestions for activities and
· Helping to establish goals for the chapter

PERSONAL BACKGROUND
I recently moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana after finishing my Master's degree at University of California, Davis in Bioenvironmental Engineering.I received my Bachelor's Degree in Biosystems/ Environmental Engineering from Michigan State University and am now working in Fort Wayne as an environmental engineer at Bonar Group, an engineering consulting firm.

I am a native Michigander and frequently visit areas "Up North" to go camping and canoeing. I also enjoy skiing, running, and biking and am often found digging around in my flower garden.

SWE GOALS
My hopes and goals for the TSU SWE Chapter include:
· Participating in activities to enhance engineering education
· Providing educational opportunities for others in the community
· Involving every member of the chapter in planning for events and
  activities
· Volunteering for community services
· Raising money to support trips to conferences and other
  leadership and educational opportunities
· Attracting new members!

The most important thing is to make the TSU SWE Chapter your SWE Chapter and express your ideas to the group. The more input the better!
