11.10 / TSU Football Goes Undefeated at Home
The Tri-State University football team capped off a turnaround year with a stunning 30-28 victory over Albion College at Shive Field. The Thunder accumulated a 5-0 record at home, the first time since 2001 they have went undefeated at home. TSU finished the season at 6-4 overall and 4-3 in MIAA play. 11.03 / Pearson Leads TSU Defense to Victory over Wisconsin Lutheran
The Tri-State University football team remains undefeated at Shive Field with a 30-10 victory over Wisconsin Lutheran. TSU took a 3-0 lead in the first quarter off a Justin Hoover (Napoleon, Ohio/Napoleon) 24-yard field goal and added a 2-yard Sam Hartman (Fort Wayne, Ind./Bishop Dwenger) TD run to take a 10-0 lead before the Warriors got on the board. 10.27 / TSU Battles First Place Hope in Tough Loss
The Tri-State University football team fumbled the ball three times and threw two interceptions in a 45-35 loss to league-leading Hope College. The Flying Dutchmen held a 468-300 advantage in total offensive yards and converted five of five opportunities in the red zone. MORE >>

The Tri-State University football team dropped an MIAA contest to Olivet College 21-14. Defense was a key to the game as the Comets returned two interceptions for a touchdown on their way to the victory. The Tri-State University football team made a statement in the MIAA with a 23-20 overtime victory against Adrian College at Shive Field. With the win, TSU takes the annual Black & Blue Border Brawl trophy from the Bulldogs for the first time ever. MORE >>
10.06 / TSU Football Earns 17-14 Homecoming Win over Kalamazoo
The Tri-State University football team celebrated a happy Homecoming with a 17-14 MIAA victory over Kalamazoo College. TSU held off a Kalamazoo rally in the fourth quarter to preserve the victory. The Thunder held a 10-0 lead heading into the fourth quarter. The Hornets brought the game within three points at the start of the fourth quarter with a 59-yard touchdown pass. TSU extended their lead back to 10 with a touchdown pass of their own.

The Tri-State University football team held a 10-7 halftime lead turned the ball over four times in the second half in falling to Alma College 28-10 in the MIAA season opener. The Tri-State University football team suffered their first defeat of the season in a 38-14 loss at Franklin College. The Grizzlies put the game out of reach early by scoring touchdowns on their first four possessions and holding a 21-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Tri-State University football team made an improbable comeback against Defiance College to take a 17-13 victory at Shive Field. The Thunder improved their season record to 2-0 and Defiance falls to 1-2. It is the first time since 1998 that TSU has started the season at 2-0. MORE >>
08.30 / TSU Defense Secures TSU Victory over Manchester
The Tri-State University football team opened the 2007 season with a 14-9 victory over Manchester College at Carl W. Burt Field. The Thunder defense stepped up in the fourth quarter with two interceptions by Matt Eby (Warsaw, Ind./Tippecanoe Valley) on the Spartans final two possessions. 08.03 / MIAA Announces Pre-Season Football Poll
The MIAA kicked-off the 2007 football season with the announcement of the pre-season football poll. Defending champion Hope College is the pre-season favorite as selected by the league coaches and the media. Adrian College was second with one first place vote, followed by Olivet, Albion, and Alma. Tri-State was selected sixth after finishing the 2006 season with a 2-5 record in MIAA play. Kalamazoo and Wisconsin Lutheran respectively rounded out the poll. MORE >>
