04.22 / Thunder Offense Unable to Strike as Wooster Dominates for the Win
The Thunder offense was shut down this afternoon as the visiting Fighting Scots of the College of Wooster dominated Tri-State in 14-6. The College of Wooster and the Thunder battled pretty evenly in the first quarter, as the Scots got on the board first before Dylan Weber (Lake Zurich, Ill./Lake Zurich) struck for the Thunder at 7:20 to go in the first quarter. The game remained tied for just a few minutes as the Scots regained the lead to go into the 2nd quarter 2-1. More >>
04.20 / Gregg’s Goaltending Shuts Down Sewanee University in Men’s Lacrosse Match-UpThe combination of goaltending by Alex Gregg (Zionsville, Ind./Zionsville) and a strong performance by the Thunder offense put the Thunder on top of the Tigers of Sewanee 18-9 on Sunday afternoon. Despite Sewanee grabbing the early lead into the contest, the Tigers could not hold on as the Thunder battled back with three goals of their own with two from Kyle Mates (Noblesville, Ind./Cathedral) and one goal by Dylan Weber (Lake Zurich, Ill./Lake Zurich).

04.11 / TSU Men’s Lacrosse Earns Firs Win in School History
The Tri-State University men’s lacrosse team earned the first win in school history with a 9-2 victory over Hendrix College. The Thunder scored five goals in the second period and held on to the safe lead for the program’s first win. The TSU defense came up big by limiting Hendrix to 15 shots in the game. 04.05 / Men’s Lacrosse Can’t Catch Up with Adrian’s Early Lead
The TSU men’s lacrosse team couldn’t catch up with Adrian College’s early lead that they took in the first period of the game. At the end of the first period Adrian was up 6-1 over the Thunder. Tri-State was only able to score one more goal in each the second and third period and then two in the final period. Tri-State lost the game 5-16. More >>

The Tri-State University men’s lacrosse team traveled to Greensburg, Pa. and fell to Seton Hill by a score of 8-2. Seton Hill was aggressive from the start and held a 13-4 shot advantage in the first quarter and a 2-0 lead on the scoreboard. More >>

The Tri-State University men’s lacrosse team dropped a heartbreaker to Fontbonne University 7-6 at TSU. The Thunder held a 3-2 lead at the break and the game was tied at five heading into the final period. More >>

The TSU men’s lacrosse team lost to Washington and Jefferson College March, 18th 6-11. The Thunder were held scoreless after the first quarter with Washington and Jefferson up 2-0. Washington and Jefferson held a significant lead by the time the half was over at 8-1. After the third quarter the score was 10-4 and then Washington and Jefferson clenched the win 11-6. More >>

The Tri-State University men’s lacrosse team dropped their season record to 0-2 after fall to Scranton 14-4. Scranton jumped out to an early 5-1 lead in the first quarter and held a 9-1 advantage heading into halftime. TSU outscored Scranton 3-1 in the third quarter but gave up four more Scranton goals in the fourth period for the final score of 14-4. More >>
