Alma College was host to the 117th Annual MIAA Field Day. The Tri-State men finished in fifth place with 63 points. The TSU women scored six points and finished seventh. MORE >>
04.26 / Men’s Track Competes in 99th Drake Relays
In front of a crowd of 14,457 people and one of the two biggest track meets in the nation, the Thunder men’s track program placed 8th overall and 3rd amongst division III programs in the Drake Relays this past weekend, hosted by Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

04.26 / Men’s Track Competes in Kip Janvrin Open
The Kip Janvrin Open, which was held in Indianola, Iowa, featured four members of the men’s track program competing. Tri-State sophomore Russell Dill (Fort Wayne, Ind./North Side) placed 12th out of 37 in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.58, just .01 shy of 11th. MORE >>

04.12 / TSU Competes in True Team Scoring MIAA Jamboree
The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association scored the conference jamboree using True Team Scoring. True Team Scoring is a unique scoring method that awards points to every participant in an event. This method makes every event important to every team and provides a more accurate reflection of how teams, from top to bottom, stack up against each other.

04.05 / Team Effort Leads TSU Men’s Track & Field to Win
The Tri-State University men’s track & field team scored in every event they competed in on their way to a one point victory over host Manchester College 200-199. The Thunder men took seven first place finishes on the day. MORE >>
03.30 / Tri-State’s Men Track Team Places First at Bluffton Facing even a division one opponent, Bowling Green, the TSU men took first in multiple events and ran themselves into first place team finish with a score of 168. TSU took first in the 4x100 and the 4x400 relay.

02.22 / TSU Takes Four of Top Five Spots in 3000 Meter Run
The Tri-State University men’s and women’s indoor track & field teams competed at Ohio Northern University in the Friday Night Series. The men’s team placed fourth with 84 points, while the women placed fifth with 18 points. Host Ohio Northern took both top team spots with the men earning 248 points and the women earned 218. MORE >>

02.02 / Dill Takes First in 600 Meter Run at Taylor
The Tri-State University men’s and women’s indoor track team participated in the 2008 Taylor Indoor Invitational. Russell Dill (Fort Wayne, Ind./North Side) led the charge for TSU with a first place finish in the 600 meter run with a time of 1:24.56. Dill also picked up a third place finish in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 7.79. MORE >>
12.01 / TSU Track Team Opens Indoor Season at Findlay
