MIAA Kicks Off Basketball Season with Pre-Season Polls

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced their pre-season men’s and women’s basketball polls. On the men’s side, defending league champion Hope College took the top spot and captured five first-place votes. Calvin College, who knocked off top-seeded Hope in the conference tournament last season, was second and received three first place votes. Tri-State was voted third.
