04.26 / Women’s Golf Third in MIAA Playoffs
The Tri-State University women’s golf team finished third in the second and third rounds of the MIAA automatic qualifier. TSU shot a team score of 365 in round two and 353 in round three to finish third on both days. Saint Mary’s College took the top team spots with scores of 347 and 342. MORE >>
04.20 / Lady Thunder Swings to a 3rd Place Finish in Golf Invitational
Four of the five-member team of the Lady Thunder golf team placed in the top 20 of the match on Sunday to post a team score of 358. University of Indianapolis posted a first place finish with a score of 314. The host team, Franklin College scored 352, just edging out Tri-State by six strokes. MORE >>

The Tri-State University women’s golf team hosted the first round of the MIAA AQ at Zollner Golf Course. League champion Olivet continued their strong play with a first place finish with a team score of 319. Saint Mary’s finished second at 337, followed by TSU at 342. MORE >>

The Tri-State University women’s golf team hosted the TSU Spring Invitational at Brookwood Golf Club in Fort Wayne, Ind. Bethel College shot a team score of 317 to take the top team honors. TSU finished sixth out of 11 schools with a score of 362. MORE >>
03.10 / Women’s Golf Opens Spring Play in Orlando, Fla.
The Tri-State University women’s golf team started their spring season with a trip to Orlando, Fla, to compete in the Grand Valley State Invitational. TSU placed sixth as a team in the two-day event with a score of 707. Host Grand Valley was the top team with a score of 602, followed by University of Detroit Mercy at 612. MORE >>
10.08 / Four TSU Women’s Golfers Honored by MIAA
The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association recently announced the women’s golf all-conference honorees for 2007. Tri-State University completed the fall season with a second place finish in the MIAA and had four players named to the All-MIAA Second Team. Olivet won their second consecutive league title by taking first in all three conference jamborees and the MIAA Championship. MORE >>
10.06 / TSU Women’s Golf Second in MIAA Championship
The Tri-State University women’s golf team finished the fall season with a second place finish at the two-day MIAA Championship. The Thunder was very consistent with a day one round of 338 and a day two total of 339. Olivet took their third first place MIAA finish of the season with rounds of 341 and 324. MORE >>
09.25 / Miller Shoots Hole-In-One at MIAA Jamboree
Tri-State University sophomore Becca Miller (Logansport, Ind./Logansport) shot her first career hole-in-one at the MIAA Jamboree held at Bucks Run Golf Course. Miller stuck the par 3, 112 yard hole number 17. Miller finished the round with an 86 and tied for 10th place overall. MORE >>

The Tri-State University women’s golf team finished third out of 11 teams at the two-day Olivet Fall Invitational. TSU shot a round of 348 on day one and improved with a 339 on day two for their third place finish. Ferris State University shot the low team round at 614, followed by Olivet College at 662. MORE >>

Tri-State University’s Brittny Makohn (Jackson, Mich./Jackson) tied for fifth at the two-day USF Cougar Invitational. Makohn was steady with a round of 86 on day one and a round of 84 on day two. As a team, the Thunder finished third with a total of 692. Host Saint Francis placed first as a team with a score of 667. MORE >>

The second MIAA Jamboree of the season was hosted by Tri-State at Zollner Golf Course. TSU remained in third position with a third place finish, following Olivet in first and Saint Mary’s in second. MORE >>

Brittny Makohn (Jackson, Mich./Jackson) led the TSU women’s golf team at the two-day Laker Fall Classic hosted by Grand Valley State University. Makohn shot a round of 85 on day one and an 81 on day two to tie for 43rd. Jessica Vanderklok (Scotts, Mich./Vicksburg) shot rounds of 91 and 83 to finish with a two-day total of 174. MORE >>

The Tri-State University women's golf team team took 12th in the 18 team Ferris State Bulldog Invitational. TSU shot a two day total of 693. Ferris State had the top team score with a 616. Jacqueline Benscoter of Ferris took medalist honors with a two-day total of 144. MORE >>
08.25 / TSU Women’s Golf Opens Season with TSU Fall Invitational
The Tri-State University women’s golf team kicked-off the 2007 season by hosting the TSU Fall Invitational at Zollner Golf Course.
