Zollner Golf Course
ATHLETICS > Zollner Golf Course

Play. Practice. Join Zollner.

Zollner Golf Course is now offering two more opportunities to join us on the green. Our new Stay & Play golf package, starting at $99, includes lodging at our campus villas and unlimited golf with cart. We are also offering Saturday night golf from June 4-September 3 starting at only $26 a person, which includes a free glowball and cart. Prizes are offered for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place. For further information on these new packages, Zollner Golf Course facilities, or hours of operation, call Jennifer Lymangood at 260.665.4269 or e-mail lymangoodj@tristate.edu.

Opened in 1971, TSU’s 18-hole Zollner Golf Course has the enviable reputation as being one of northeast Indiana’s finest-conditioned and challenging golf courses. TSU is the only college of its size in the country to have an 18-hole course right on its campus.

Zollner Golf Course is a championship golf course appreciated for its beautifully landscaped, undulating fairways; scenic views; strategically placed water hazards; and hilly terrain. With its many elevation changes, Zollner is truly a “thinking player’s” golf course.

Championship Play
Zollner Golf Course has been a three-time host of the National Collegiate Golf Championships as well as the site for sectional State Open Qualifying and Indiana PGA Junior Age-Group Championships. The course, located on TSU’s main campus, is also home to Tri-State’s men’s and women’s golf teams; both teams have enjoyed strong success throughout the years. The men’s squad has won 16 titles in two conferences, 15 state and regional championships, and has twice reached tenth place in NAIA national tournaments. The women’s squad, formed in 1994, captured the NAIA National Championship in 1997.

Academic Programs
Zollner Golf Course also plays an integral role in two distinctive programs offered in response to the growing need for professionals in the golf industry. Through the Ketner School of Business, students have access to two specialized programs: Golf Management and Turf Grass Management. These programs integrate key business school courses with golf management coursework and actual hands-on exposure to the golf course.

Test Your Skills on Zollner's Signature Hole
It’s our 14th hole: a 425 yard, par 4 that challenges even the championship golfers who visit our course. Play begins from an elevated tee (with a spectacular view framed by trees) to a fairway that curves gently from right to left to the putting green. Putting on the severely sloped green tests the skills of all who take on the challenge of the 14th hole!

Zollner Golf Course is Open to Both Students and the Public
The course features four sets of tees to accommodate all levels of play. Practice facilities include an expansive driving range, putting greens, chipping areas, and practice sand bunkers. The golf season typically runs from mid-May through the end of September. The course is open to the public from 7 a.m. until dark during the week and from 6 a.m. until dark on weekends. A golf shop as well as banquet facilities with catering also are open to the public. Instructional programs, golf clinics, and junior camps are offered throughout the golf season. Golf memberships, which offer unlimited greens fees and priority tee times, are available to the public.
