Connecting to the TSU wireless network The wireless network uses Bradford Campus Manager to monitor and maintain the security of our network. You must have antivirus installed on you machine and it must be up to date in order to connect to our network. If you do not, Bradford connects your computer to the remediation network where you can download only antivirus or antivirus updates. If you do not have antivirus, we do provide 2 free options for you. Faculty and staff with a TSU owned Tablet PC or Laptop must call the helpdesk at 260.665.4275 to set this up. This guide will walk you though connecting to the wireless and downloading antivirus so you can successfully connect to our network.
1. Right click on in the task bar down in the bottom right of your screen and choose “View Available Wireless Networks.”

2. Choose TSU wireless and click connect.

3. If the following dialog box appears, click Connect Anyway.
4. Once you have connected, open Internet Explorer. If the following dialog box opens, click Yes to proceed.

5. You will be redirected to the registration page. Click on the "Users who have a TSU network Account" link unless you have guest rights given to you by IT.

6. Now fill out the form with your correct login information and your campus phone number, building, and room number. Then click Download.

7. The download page will load. Click where it says "click here to download."
8. A dialog box opens asking you if you want to save or run the file. Click Save. Then save this file to the desktop. Note: Window’s security sometimes forbids this file to be run from its current location.

9. Minimize or close all your windows to get to the desktop. Double click on this icon located on your desktop.
10. Go through the installer steps to install the Bradford client software. (You will have to provide your username and password.)
11. If your computer meets our policy requirements, you will be able
within a couple minutes. Please close your browser at this point. If your
Anti-Virus installed (Symantec, Norton, or AVG) or if your virus definitions
will not be allowed on the main network (proceed to the next step).
12. If you see the following message it means you do not have antivirus installed or it is not up to date. If you have it installed please updated it, then reopen Internet Explorer and click Rescan. If you do not have it installed proceed to the next step.

13. Open Internet Explorer and click Rescan. If you do not have antivirus you will see the following page. Click on “Anti-Virus :: AVG.” You will be given the choice of downloading Symantec Corporate Edition or AVG Free. You can also use Norton Antivirus that you may have already purchased. If you are certain this is already installed and up to date, contact the resnet office for assistance (x4557).

14. Choose an anti-virus solution to download and install. Once you have installed your antivirus make sure it is updated.

15. Now reopen Internet Explorer and click Rescan. You should see the following box appear if your computer passes the requirements.

16. Your computer may briefly loose connectivity as you are connected to the main wireless network from the remediation network
